Yantra

The Sanskrit word yantra derives from the root ‘yam’ meaning to sustain, or hold. A yantra is a pure geometric configuration, composed of basic primal shapes. These shapes are psychological symbols corresponding to inner states of human consciousness. This innate simplicity of composition is identified with spiritual presence. Yantras are great cosmic conductors of energy, an antenna of nature, a powerful tool for harmony, prosperity, success, good health, yoga and meditation. Yantras are geometrical figures placed on a metal sheet or paper that works on energies pertaining to the particular God in the form of Mantras. In simple terms, An Yantra is a symbolic representation of a Mantra.
